Meet The Founder

Our team strives to bring beauty and value to your sidewalks, businesses, neighborhoods, and homes while helping the environment around us thrive

Our mission is to redefine curb appeal while fostering joy and pride in the communities we serve.

Andrew grew up in Indianapolis learning the art of gardening & landscape design from his parents who created beautiful hardscapes around their home. Combined with his time spent outdoors becoming an Eagle Scout, he developed a deep appreciation for landscape horticulture.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati with a BA in Business and Spanish, he moved to New York City in 2021 to pursue a career in the Big Apple!

After much exploration around the city and nearly two years in Real Estate Andrew saw an opportunity to bring his lifelong passion for design and greenery to the city's often-overlooked tree beds.

Andrew Funk

Andrew understands the power of curb appeal—not just for homes and businesses, but for entire neighborhood reputations. It is the first impression we all experience that can make or break someone’s desire to dine, shop, or purchase a home in any given area.

Through The Sidewalk Gardeners, Andrew is passionate about making a positive impact on the environment while blending his love for gardening with his commitment to redefining curb appeal across New York, one tree bed at a time.
